trimprefix
removes the specified prefix from the start of the given string, but only once. If the string does not begin with the prefix, the original string is returned unchanged.
Examples
> trimprefix("helloworld", "hello")
world
> trimprefix("helloworld", "cat")
helloworld
> trimprefix("--hello", "-")
-hello
